A Blenheim man faces charges after police raided a store in Blenheim Wednesday, seizing a variety of illicit drugs.
Chatham-Kent police began investigating in January looking into Blenheim Carts, an operation they say was an illicit cannabis store.
On Wednesday, police raided a Blenheim address and seized the following:
- 5 kilogram of illicit cannabis;
- 500 grams of psilocybin;
- 51 hits of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide);
- other cannabis products such as oils, resins, hash, etc.;
- packaging material and packaging products;
- cellular telephone;
- digital scales; and
- Canadian currency.
A 28 year old Blenheim man has been charged with three counts of selling cannabis; possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling, and two counts of possession of a Schedule 3 substance (LSD and psilocybin) for the purpose of trafficking.
