She wouldn’t come out of her jail cell. And now she’s facing a new charge.
That’s what Chatham-Kent police say took place on Thursday.
Police arrested a woman and charged her with causing a disturbance. She was transported to headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
While in custody and awaiting the hearing, the woman refused to exit her cell for processing, police say. She was cautioned and continued to be unco-operative.
That earned her a bonus charge of obstructing a peace officer.
