A pedestrian is in hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Communication Road near Park Avenue east of Chatham Thursday night.
The OPP report that the accident took place about 9:45 p.m.
The pedestrian suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
