Chatham Cherrygrove Community development in northwest Chatham has taken another step forward.
At a recent planning meeting, C-K council approved a zoning bylaw amendment for the project, that will see the construction of 157 residential units, including detached and semi-detached homes and townhouses.
The zoning change is the last step required before the submission of final plans for construction.
The Cherrygrove project is located at the norther end of Delaware Avenue, west of Idlewild Drive and south of Gregory Drive East. The 96-acre property is currently farmland.
