An early morning fire at a barn on Duart Road levelled the building and did an estimated $2 million in damage.
Fire crews were called to 19914 Duart Road shortly before 4 a.m. Monday morning. They arrived to see the two-storey barn engulfed in flame. All they could do, officials said, was take a defensive approach to attacking the fire.
They were still on the scene hours later, working with an excavator to put out the fire.
No one was injured and the cause is undetermined.
