Foul play has been ruled out in the death of a woman in Chatham Wednesday.
Emergency crews attended shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Pegley Crescent and Lacroix Street in Chatham for a call of an unresponsive female.
The area under the Lacroix Street Bridge was taped off for much of the day while police and the coroner investigated.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner has completed a post-mortem, but continues to investigate the dealth. However, foul play has been ruled out.
Police will not be releasing the victim’s name out of respect of next of kin.
