Two new names have been added to a pair of Chatham-Kent committees, following approval at council recently.
Local real-estate broker Tricia Weese has been named to the committee of adjustment for the remainder of the 2022-26 term, filling a vacancy left when a member moved away.
The COA operates independently from council, covering a variety of issues, including land variances, selling land, and conveyances. It has the power to hold public hearings and consider applications submitted to the municipality under the Planning Act.
Another citizen appointment was made to the Chatham-Kent Age Friendly Advisory Committee. Tara Seney will fill a seat on the committee left vacant due to a resignation. Seney has formerly served on the committee.
