Editor: In response to Wayne Robertson’s April 20 complaint about Doug Ford’s April 1 carbon price increase, I would like to remind him and others that it is the Honourable Justin Trudeau and the federal Liberals who have increased carbon tax rates for April 1 and for the umpteenth time.
They also basically hold provinces at ransom by demanding they do their part in carbon reduction and green fees in order to continue to receive federal funding without claw backs.
Is it foolish for the Trudeau government to damage Canadian’s economy to reduce greenhouse omissions while China (who Trudeau so idolizes) and India continue their wanton polluting ways while Trudeau finds new ways to donate money around the globe on his travels?
