The decorations are up and the lights are shining in Dresden as the community comes together to create Christmas Town.
A lighting ceremony complete with carolling took place Nov. 17 to kick off the holiday season.
Special Merry and Bright Thursday nights will be featured in coming weeks, with stores open until 8 p.m.
The evenings will also include activities for the whole family and workshops put on by the Dresden History Group.
