Advanced polling is underway in Chatham-Kent for the fall municipal election.
They take place today and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations.
- Tilbury & District Memorial Arena
- Dresden Kent Houston Memorial Arena
- Ridgetown Rotary Youth Centre
- Blenheim St. Mary’s Hall
- Wallaceburg First Baptist Church
- Chatham John D. Bradley Centre
Voting at advanced polls will be by paper ballot only. Ballots for all wards will be available at each voting location.
For this election, only during advanced poll dates, there will be a Vote Van in the small townships such as Chatham, Bothwell, Erieau, Mitchell’s Bay, and Wheatley. Ballots for all wards will be available at these locations:
Friday in the Bothwell Arena parking lot until noon, and then in the Mitchell’s Bay Park Pavilion from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
For Saturday, the Vote Van will pull into the Real Canadian Superstore parking lot from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and then the Cultural Centre parking lot from 12:20 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Election Day will be Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
