Editor: Recently my organization was the recipient of a very kind gesture by a newlywed couple. I wish to share their idea in order to possibly inspire others to do the same.
In lieu of gifts, they requested that wedding presents be monetary donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.
Our thrift store assists many people throughout the Chatham-Kent area. We are also associated with Camp Vincent. Charities such as ours benefit the underprivileged in various ways.
Chatham-Kent is well-known for having generous hearts.
Thanks to those who have contributed to our St. Vincent de Paul in the past, and please continue to do so in these difficult times.
