Editor: It has been said the problem with cutting the municipal grass is the contract has ended and many contractors did not renew the one-year extension due to lack of employees. Yet those people who want to work can’t find a job.
I have cut grass before and yet I get turned down by the grass-cutting employers. For those who know me, I did have a full-time job cleaning windows, but COVID took a toll on it; now I’m looking elsewhere.
