Assault, threats

On Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m., police responded to a family dispute on Taylor Avenue in Chatham.

Upon arrival, police learned a woman had assaulted her mother.

A 26-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested for one count of uttering threats and two counts of assault.

Assault charges 

On Sunday morning, Chatham-Kent police responded to a domestic disturbance on Thames Street in Chatham.

Through investigation, police learned about a physical altercation between the woman and her boyfriend.

A 19-year-old Chatham man was arrested for one count of assault.

Theft charges

A Wallaceburg woman faces charges following a theft at a business on Winter Line Road in Pain Court earlier this month.

Police say they began their investigation May 19. Through video surveillance, officers identified a woman that was involved.

After several attempts to locate the woman, a warrant was issued for her arrest.

On Sunday afternoon, a woman was observed by police driving on Bruce Street in Wallaceburg. The officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the woman.

A 26-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with one count of theft.

Bail violation

Shortly before 3:30 a.m. this morning, police responded to a domestic disturbance on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.

Through investigation, police learned the man was on conditions not to associate with the woman. Police discovered the man had called the woman and said he was attending her home.

Police arrived at the house simultaneously as the man, and he was arrested.

A 27-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with two counts of breaching his release conditions.
