Break ins

Sometime since March 21, someone entered a locked utility shed in Ridgetown, causing about $200 damage.

Once inside, the suspect(s) stole several hand tools and a water pump.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $3,000.

Sometime since March 19, someone entered a garage outside of Chatham and stole a Supercycle mountain bike worth $100.

Through investigation, police recovered the bike yesterday.

Warrant arrests

Yesterday afternoon, police located a man who was wanted for failing to comply with his release order.

Through investigation, police learned that the man was also in possession of stolen property.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a landlord tenant dispute.

Police located a man who was wanted for failing to appear in court.

The man was arrested and released with a future court date.

Yesterday evening, police located a woman who was wanted for failing to attend court.

The woman was arrested and released with a future court date.

Yesterday evening, police located a man who was wanted for breach of probation.

The man was arrested and transported to the Chatham Police Station. He was later released with a future court date.
