Police have charged a seventh person in connection with the murder of a man and the discovery of human remains on Walpole Island.
The arrest took place March 10 in North York, according to the OPP and Walpole Island First Nation police.
A 21-year-old North York man faces first-degree murder charges.
A year ago, March 17, 2011, the remains of Oyebode Oyenuga were found on Walpole Island. He had been reported missing to the Windsor Police Service a month earlier.
The investigation continues under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.

Five people from outside of Chatham-Kent are also facing first-degree murder charges, while a 36-year-old Erieau man must answer to charges of trafficking a firearm, weapon or ammunition in connection with Oyenuga’s death.
