Officers assaulted
Early yesterday morning, Chatham-Kent police responded to a vehicle off the roadway on Coutts Line, between Jeanettes Creek Road and Sinclair Road in Tilbury East Township.
While investigating the incident, both attending officers were assaulted by the driver of the vehicle.
A 24-year-old Tilbury woman was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of assault.
Assault charge
Yesterday afternoon the police were called to attend an address on Michener Avenue in Chatham for a disturbance.
Through investigation police learned an assault had taken place.
A 45-year-old Chatham man was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of assault. The man was released with a future court date.
You’re not supposed to be there
On Christmas Eve, a woman was released from the court on conditions which included to remain in her residence at all times and not to possess more than one cell phone.
On Sunday afternoon, police say the woman was found by officers in the parking lot of a business on Keil Drive in Chatham.
A 34-year-old Chatham woman was in violation of her release conditions. She was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
