On Friday, the Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Unit, in partnership with the Ministry of Transportation, conducted a joint forces operation focusing on commercial motor vehicle operation and safety in Wallaceburg.
As a result of this blitz 21 commercial motor vehicles were sent in for inspection, 11 vehicles were taken out of service, one set of license plates were seized and 26 charges were laid in relation to this enforcement initiative.
