The west end of Wellington Street in Chatham will be off limits to traffic until the middle of the fall.
Crews shut the portion of Wellington between Lacroix and Raleigh streets earlier this week. It will remain closed until early October as crews replace storm and sanitary sewers, and water mains under the street.
Following that work, the road will be rebuilt.
Emergency vehicle will have access into and out of the work zone.
