Vaccinations continue to rise in Chatham-Kent, while hospitalizations for COVID-19 and active cases dropped in the past 24 hours.
To date, 63 per cent of C-K residents aged 12 and older have received at least one vaccine dose. CK Public Health figures indicate they have given out a total of 67,535 jabs to 59,647 people.
Also, there are four people in hospital locally with the virus, down two from yesterday.
Active cases are down to 17, with two deemed resolved against one new case reported in the past 24 hours.
Across the province, only 469 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours. That’s the lowest level since late September of last year.
