Crash sends driver to London hospital
Yesterday afternoon, around 3 p.m. emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Kent Bridge Road near O’Neill Line.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the driver lost control of her vehicle, leaving the roadway and came to rest in a ditch on the west side on Kent Bridge Road.
The driver, a 43-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. She has since been transferred to London for further medical attention.

Stunt driving
Yesterday afternoon, a member of the Traffic Unit observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Queens Line. The officer recorded the man driving 156km/h in a posted 90km/h zone.
The officer pulled the vehicle over, and a 20-year-old Tilbury man was charged with stunt driving.
His vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded as per the Vehicle Impoundment Program.
Truck stolen
Sometime yesterday afternoon between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., someone stole a blue 1997 Dodge Dakota pick-up truck from a business on Mason Street. The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates AR52 427.
