Tools taken

Sometime between April 8 and April 16, someone forced his or her way into the Dresden Lawn Bowling Club on Sydenham Street. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole various tools valued at about $2,000.

Truck stolen

Sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning, someone stole an unlocked white 2014 Ford F-150 King Ranch pick-up truck from a residence on Prince Albert Road.

The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates 210 8FS.

‘While you’re here….’

Last night around 8:30 p.m. an officer attended the Real Canadian Superstore in Chatham in regards to a shoplifting complaint.

A 48-year-old Chatham women is charged with theft and possession of stolen property.

Shortly after 9 p.m. while still at the Superstore, the officer was advised of another shoplifting incident.

A 27-year-old Chatham woman was also charged with theft and possession of stolen property.

Stop leads to arrest

Last night around 10:30 p.m. an officer on general patrol initiated a traffic stop on Garnet Street in Wallaceburg.

Through investigation, police learned that a woman in the vehicle was wanted for failing to comply with her release conditions and that she was currently bound by a daily curfew of 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

A 35-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested on the outstanding warrant and further charged with breaching her curfew. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
