Shortly after midnight, emergency crews responded to a single motor-vehicle collision on Longwoods Road west of Louisville.
As a result of the collision, a 19 year-old passenger was pronounced deceased on scene, according to Chatham-Kent police.
The driver was transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with minor injuries. Through investigation, police believed the driver had been drinking, and she was subsequently arrested for Impaired Operation Causing Death.
