Unauthorized use of a hot tub
Around 4:30 a.m. yesterday morning, Chatham-Kent police responded to the report of a suspicious man in the area of McDowell Line.
Through investigation, police learned that the man attended a property on McDowell Line, removed his clothing and used the hot tub in the backyard. The man then entered a nearby home and stole a blanket.
With the assistance of K9 Helix, the man was located near a drainage ditch hiding under a tree.
A 35-year-old London man was arrested and charged with trespassing at night, break and enter and failing to comply with his release conditions.
Failing to comply
On July 8, 2020 the man was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was not to communicate with his neighbour.
On Saturday morning, the man spoke to his neighbour while both of them were outside.
Yesterday morning, a 24-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with his release conditions.

Yesterday morning, police responded to a disturbance in Wallaceburg.
Through investigation, police learned that the youth entered a residence regardless of being on conditions not to attend the property or to communicate with the homeowner.
The 17-year-old Wallaceburg youth was arrested and charged with failing to comply with his release conditions.
In gear while storing gear?
Around 7:30 a.m. yesterday morning, an officer on general patrol observed a vehicle in the middle of Regent Street in Blenheim. The man had the vehicle in drive with the trunk open.
Through investigation, the officer believed the man was driving while under the influence and he was arrested. The man was transported to police headquarters where a Drug Recognition Expert conducted an evaluation. As a result, the DRE officer believed the man was impaired by a drug.
A 27-year-old Blenheim man was charged with impaired driving.
Stolen vehicle
Sometime yesterday between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. unknown suspect(s) stole a black 2011 Buick Regal from a residence on Duart Road.
The car was last seen with Ontario license plates CBBD 053.

Speed traps
This weekend, members of Community Patrol conducted traffic enforcement across Chatham-Kent.
Twenty motorists were stopped and charged with various Highway Traffic Act offences.
