Nine more COVID cases in C-K

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent is back over 40 once again, as nine new cases were reported in the past 24 hours.

According to CK Public Health numbers, we have 42 active cases, up from 37 a day earlier, as four people recovered.

So far during the pandemic, 593 Chatham-Kent residents have contracted COVID-19, while 548 have recovered. Three have died.

There remains one workplace and one school outbreak – St. Anne Catholic School in Blenheim.

On Saturday, the province goes into full lockdown for 28 days says for any district south of Sudbury.
