Stolen plates, drugs
On Thursday morning just before 8 a.m., Chatham-Kent police pulled over a driver on Emma Street in Chatham, after confirming the plates on the vehicle were stolen.
As a result, the 46-year-old male driver was arrested and charged with Possession of Stolen Property.
A search incident to arrest revealed a loaded syringe with suspected meth found in his sock, and he was further charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Warrant arrest
Around 5 p.m. yesterday, police arrested a 41-year-old female on outstanding warrants for Theft and Possession Under $5,000.
She was later released from police custody on an Appearance Notice with a future court date.
