Chatham-Kent police are investigating an arson attempt after someone lobbed a Molotov cocktail at a home on Jeffrey Street in Chatham.
Just before 1:00 a.m. yesterday morning, someone chucked the burning bottle towards the bedroom in the home.
The Molotov cocktail burnt itself out and melted the siding around the window, causing about $2,000 damage.
