Say cheese! (And burgers)

Chatham-Kent residents enjoyed lunch on the house on Wednesday afternoon.

The municipality was one of 34 stops across Canada in a Harvey’s tour thanking frontline workers.

Three-hundred free burgers were given out in Chatham at the Sobey’s parking lot on Park Avenue

“We’re trying to give back to the essential workers, especially grocery store workers who have been champions throughout this pandemic,” said employee Kat Johnstone. “And it is also a thank you to the general public for flattening the curve.”
