The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 161 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Two people were arrested.
Break and Enter
A green 2018 Honda 450 ATV was stolen overnight on Monday. A barn was entered on Whitebread Line.

Mischief and Theft
Sometime over the weekend, unknown suspect(s) smashed a window of a work vehicle on Sass Rd., and stole numerous tools. An investigation is currently on-going.

Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant
Yesterday morning a Harwich Twp. woman attended the Chatham office of the Chatham-Kent Police station and turned herself in for failing to attend court.
The woman was taken into custody and later released pending a future court date of September 21, 2020.
MVC with Injuries
Monday evening around 8:30 p.m. in Thamesville, a youth was operating an ATV. While turning the ATV the youth lost control and rolled into a ditch. The youth was transported to CKHA then London Hospital as a precaution with non-life threatening injuries. Damage is estimated at approximately $1,000.
Break and Enter
Monday evening police received a call of a suspicious female on Victoria Ave., Chatham. At the same time police received a call of a break and enter on Forest St. in Chatham.
Through investigation the police learned they were dealing with the accused of the break and enter. As a result the adult female, of no fixed address, was arrested for break and enter, as well as theft and possession under $5,000.
She was held in custody awaiting a bail hearing on today’s date.
