The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) is hosting a Clinical Career Fair on Feb. 11 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre, located at 565 Richmond Street in Chatham.
Nurses, Personal Support Workers and Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging Technologists from across Southwestern Ontario are invited to visit the Clinical Career Fair to meet representatives of CKHA’s management team, receive information on departments and services and enter prize draws.
Attendees will also be able learn more about the application process, have their questions answered by CKHA managers representing all clinical departments, as well as participate in a Question and Answer session with Lori Marshall, President & CEO, CKHA at 2:30 p.m.
“This year’s Clinical Career Fair is an excellent way for nursing professionals, personal support workers and laboratory and diagnostic imaging technologists to explore career opportunities available at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance,” said Lisa Northcott, Vice President, People and Chief Nursing Executive, CKHA, via a media release. “CKHA is an organization that strives to ensure we support our staff to provide the highest quality health care and we promote a safe and healthy work environment for all of our staff. Whether a candidate is just starting their career or is seasoned in their profession, the Clinical Career Fair allows attendees to learn about our culture and values.”
CKHA is currently accepting applications for Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses in its Medicine, Critical Care and Surgery programs. Applications are also being accepted for Personal Support Workers in the staffing Float Pool as well as Laboratory Technologists and Diagnostic Imaging Technologists.
