Two Chatham-Kent drivers didn’t get what they bargained for when they got behind the wheel Monday.
First off, in Blenheim about 4 p.m., Chatham-Kent police report officers responded to a collision in a parking lot off King Street.
The investigating officer believed one driver was under the influence of alcohol and administered a roadside test.
A 40-year-old Blenheim man faces impaired charges.
And last night in Chatham, an officer pulled a woman over on Lacroix Street for a traffic violation.
But investigation revealed the driver had a suspended licence.
A 35-year-old woman is facing charges for failing to stop at the red light, and for driving while under suspension.
Meanwhile, the car was towed from the scene and impounded.
