Driving should not resemble a pinball game.
But on Friday afternoon, it appears a driver didn’t get the memo for responsible and safe driving, as Chatham-Kent police say someone hit a hydro pole about 2 p.m. on Middle Line.
Police say the driver didn’t remain at the scene. Instead, he continued east on Middle Line.
An officer tracked down the driver and believed he had been drinking. Plus, his licence was under suspension.
A 50-year-old Blenheim man received a three-day suspension and faces charges of driving while under suspension and failing to remain.
