AgMedica Bioscience Inc. is hosting a job fair on July 16 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham.

The event will be open for anyone seeking employment in their Chatham-Kent cannabis production facilities and will be looking to fill 50-70 positions in AgMedica’s Cultivation Department.

Reporting to the Cultivation Team Lead, the Cultivation Technician will be trained to effectively use growing and cultivation techniques for cannabis production to enhance quality, safety, and efficacy through all stages of the plant production-cycle.

“We are ramping up our production and this is the first of several waves of hiring over the next year,” said Donna Husak, VP of Human Resources, in a media release. “Anyone who is interested is encouraged to apply and we will be keeping resumes on-hand for future hiring, so this is a great opportunity to let us know you’re interested.”

In anticipation of crowds at the job fair, AgMedica has launched an online pre-registration tool.  If you want to skip the long lines, pre-register for your time slot online at https://agmedica.ca/job-fair!
