Chatham-Kent police say a man walked into his house yesterday morning, only to find an unwanted male “guest.”
The incident took place on Elizabeth Street, and the man found inside was carrying a bag, police say.
The homeowner chased the guy out of the house and called police.
Officers searched the area, but failed to find the suspect.
About $2,000 in jewelry and electronics were stolen, police say.
