Sir: Congratulations to Mayor Caniff and the other municipal councillors and staff who went out of their way to deliver food to people isolated out in rural areas of our municipality recently! This is a very good thing!
Also thank you especially to the kitchen staff of Meals on Wheels at St. Andrew’s Residence for their hard work at preparing these meals for our isolated population.
It’s good to hear good news about good things being done for the disadvantaged in our own home community and not just somewhere overseas, though no doubt there are places elsewhere equally in need of assistance!
Good news is always welcome.
