This Saturday is Prescription Drop Off Day in Chatham-Kent.
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., residents are encouraged to drop off their old and unused medication at one of three locations in the municipality: at the Shoppers Drug Mart on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg, the Shoppers Drug Mart on Mill Street in Tilbury, and at the Chatham-Kent Courthouse on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
A “Shred It” truck will be on hand at the courthouse, accepting papers, books, DVDs, CDs, etc. for destruction for a fee of $10 per bankers box.
All proceeds will go to Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers.
