Angry and intoxicated

An early-morning incident at an apartment building in Dresden has a man facing several charges.

Chatham-Kent police say about 3 a.m., someone kicked in the lobby door at the apartment building.

The culprit fled prior to police arriving on the scene, but officers found their suspect driving in the area.

Police say the man was intoxicated.

A 36-year-old man is charged with mischief, impaired driving and for over 80 once a breath test was conducted.
