A Wallaceburger faces charges after someone stole rooftop surveillance cameras at a James Street business.

Chatham-Kent police say officers responded to a theft complaint Thursday night that the cameras had been taken from the roof of the business.

Officers also learned the man had failed to comply with a trespass notice served to him at another Wallaceburg business, this one on McNaughton Avenue.

A couple of hours later, police found their suspect on University Avenue.

A 38-year-old Wallaceburg man is charged with theft, possession of stolen property, and two counts of mischief.
