Chatham-Kent police ask the public for help tracking down a man who approached a couple of teenaged girls last Friday morning.
Police say the girls were walking along Princess Street near King Street on March 22 about 7:30 a.m. when a man drove up to them.
He’s described as white, between 50 and 60 years of age. He was wearing a red hat and driving an older model small reddish car with tinted windows, police say.
The man did not exit the vehicle and there was no physical contact between the girls and the man, according to police.
Anyone with information regarding this man or his vehicle is asked to contact Const. Paul Brophy at paulbr@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600 ext. 619. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
