It turns out three times is not the charm, at least when trying to use funny money.
Chatham-Kent police say on three separate occasions at the same variety store in Chatham, a woman walked in and purchased lottery tickets and groceries, paying with “fraudulent” $100 US bills.
The store called police and officers identified their suspect.
Last night, officers arrested a 25-year-old Chatham woman and charged her with several fraud-related offences.
