The Rob McLandress Make a Dream Come True Fund is taking applications for its 2019 awards.
The fund was made possible through a bequest to Community Living Chatham-Kent by the late Father James Williams. Father Williams was an ongoing supporter of the work of Community Living Chatham-Kent, and his bequest was made in honour of Rob McLandress, whose family he was very close to.
Two awards of $1,000 will be presented in May during Community Living Month.
Applications from persons who have an intellectual disability will be accepted from now until the end of March.
The money will assist each person to make a dream a reality.
The Rob McLandress Make a Dream Come True Fund is in keeping with Community Living Chatham-Kent’s Vision of Discovering Dreams, Connecting Lives.
Application forms can be found on the Community Living Chatham-Kent website (www.clc-k.ca) or by calling 519-352-1174.
