Lane closures on Victoria Avenue this week

It might be smart to avoid the south end of Victoria Avenue for a week, starting Wednesday morning.

Municipal officials say there will be intermittent lane closures on the road in Chatham. Expect delays.

Work is being done to flush and inspect sewer lines along Victoria Avenue from Thames Street to McNaughton Avenue.

Crews anticipate being done by the end of the day Jan. 22.
