A Dresden man faces charges after a Chatham convenience store got robbed Monday night.
Police say the robbery took place about 10:30 p.m. when a man, sporting a weapon concealed in his hand, entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.
The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, and police were called.
Officers found their suspect a short distance away. A search revealed the stolen money, police say, as well as the weapon used in the crime.
A 45-year-old Dresden man is charged with robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of stolen property.
