This morning Union Gas and Enbridge Gas employees were busy on-site putting the final touches on our 5000 square foot branded informative and interactive display centre in the 2018 International Plowing Match’s Tent City that includes:

  • Granny’s House – with more than just wood paneling, plastic on the couch, and vintage wallpaper, Enbridge Gas goes back in time with its interactive Granny’s house that has outdated and inefficient home features that show not all oldies are goodies, especially when it comes to home comfort and energy savings.
  • See what’s inside a Union Gas utility service vehicle!  Fuelled by compressed natural gas (CNG), the truck provides a snapshot into the job of Utility Service Representatives who are on the road every day servicing customers. Kids can don a hard hat and safety vest and have their photo taken inside the truck.
  • Planning renovations or upgrades to your home in the near future? Stop by the Home Reno Rebate Program photo boothto find information on how you could possibly qualify for a home reno rebate up to $5000, then have your picture taken and receive a free print out and a red toque!

Union Gas personnel said they are thrilled to be a gold-level sponsor at the 2018 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo helping showcase Chatham-Kent and the area’s important agriculture, business and tourism industries. Visiting our booth offers a great opportunity for the community to learn more about Union Gas, a chance to win a tablet or carbon monoxide detector (we will be giving away two tablets a day and co detectors while quantities last) and to experience a truly historic event here in Chatham-Kent.
