Railroad decisions questioned

Sir: According to a well-respected think tank in British Columbia (The Fraser Institute), the municipality of Chatham-Kent’s council has been rated #3 in Ontario in the most secretive category. Is this the same council that is always boasting about being very transparent?

As you love to spend millions of taxpayers dollars every year on consulting fees, could you please reveal to the taxpayers of Chatham-Kent which consulting firm recommended purchasing the $3 million railroad to nowhere?

Who checked to see the viability of a fertilizer plant being built in Tupperville, when a world-scale plant in Courtright could easily expand?

If you truly are as transparent as you always boast, why has the $3 million original cost of the railroad to nowhere mushroomed to $5 million? Was the management firm (created) paid almost $2 million to watch weeds grow?
