A family dispute last night led to a number of charges against a woman.
Chatham-Kent Police say officers responded to a call of a dispute on Longwoods Road Monday evening.
The report indicated a woman had threatened family members in the home and refused to leave.
Police say the officers investigated and went to place the woman under arrest, but the woman, trying to avoid getting handcuffed, pulled away and caused a struggle.
When the officers got the woman under control and placed her in the back of the cruiser, police say she spat in one officer’s face.
A 31-year-old woman of no fixed address is charged with assaulting a peace officer and three counts of uttering threats.
