The case of the stolen E-bike ended Sunday night.

Police say just a couple of days after someone stole a silver E-bike valued at $1,400 from a Harvey Street address Friday night, officers found the bike and made an arrest Sunday evening.

A 29-year-old Thames Street resident is charged with theft after police found the man with the E-bike on Stanley Avenue.

In other police news, three people face break-and-enter charges following a break-in on Given Road Saturday morning.

By that afternoon, the cops had one suspect in custody.

A day later, all three were in the legal system.

Two Chatham men, 40 and 34, and one Chatham woman, 37, are charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property.

Three other people were also charged with failing to comply Sunday night.

Those include a 28-year-old Wallaceburg man whom police say was not living where his release conditions stated he was to call home.

As well, a 35-year-old Chatham woman was picked up while trying to open a mailbox with a hammer last night. Her conditions were to not be within 50 meres of 4 Reaume Ave. in Wallaceburg.

And a Facebook message to a women that a 19-year-old Chatham man was not to communicate with landed that man back behind bars, police say.
