This fall, Jeff Wesley is doing more than leaving municipal politics; he’s shifting careers.
Wesley, who announced at the beginning of May he won’t seek re-election as a councillor for Ward 5, Wallaceburg, recently said he’s retiring from Union Gas after 34 years.
He will instead work as a lawyer for the local law firm of Carscallen, Reinhart, Mathany, Maslak, Anderson, where his daughter, Lindsey Anderson, is a partner.
Wesley will retire from Union Gas Nov. 30 and begin his new career the next day.
