Apparently, thieves were really in love with a backyard pond on Bloomfield Road, as sometime over the weekend, they stole it, fish, fountain, turtle and all.
Police say someone made off with the three-foot-wide pond out of the backyard, digging up the plastic liner that was sunk about a foot into the ground.
Also stolen was an accompanying water fountain, pond fish and a six-year-old snapping turtle.
