A Friday evening crash near Wallaceburg claimed a life.
Police say an 18-year-old woman is dead after the vehicle she was in left the roadway and entered a water-filled ditch on Border Road shortly after 8 p.m. Friday.
Emergency personnel pulled an 18-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman from the vehicle. Both were taken to Sydenham District Hospital, and the man was transferred to Windsor hospital for additional treatment for hypothermia.
The woman, who arrived in hospital in critical condition, succumbed to her injuries.
The names of those involved aren’t being released at this time.
