April seems to be the month of youth violence in Chatham-Kent. After four kids were arrested for allegedly beating up another, and one teen stole another’s shoes, police say two more youths face assault charges in a third incident.
On April 16 just before 1 p.m., police say two youths assaulted a student in the hallway of their Chatham high school. The victim had to be taken to hospital for treatment.
Two 17-year-old Chatham youths are charged with aggravated assault.
